HAMNET Gauteng South Exercise

HAMNET Exercise Huge Success

ON the weekend on the 7th of October 2012 we had an exercise in Emergency Comms.

All went well and the guys enjoyed themselves.

The exercise included multiple modes and frequencies / bands. The idea is to allow HAMNET members to illustrate their competences in various modes and bands utilising their fieldstations.

Cool Prizes were sponsored. Leon and Linda from CDS Computers sposored a Baofeng rig and programming cable. Marc d'Hotman de Villers sponsored a Baofeng rig with its cable as well. Bato from Bato's Electronics sponsored a pair of active headphones which is quite fancy.

Thanks Guys. Winners will be announced on 25 October 2012 at the Nigel Night Race.

See Ya. Hereunder some more pics of Glynn ZS6GLN and his team.
